Tuesday, June 08, 2010
Portland, OR - June 8, 2010 - CSG Professional Services, Inc., a leading software services consulting company based in Portland, has hired two executives to help manage the company’s continued growth.
Bryan Campbell has been hired as a business development manager. Christopher Nelson will serve as a principal consultant. Campbell and Nelson each bring more than 15 years of technology and business experience to CSG.
CSG Professional Services is optimally aligned for growth as the regional economy improves. In addition to Campbell and Nelson, the company hired four new employees in the last six months to meet the increased demand for services, including Vice President Kevin McVicker (see accompanying release). "This is an exciting time for us,” says Kevin McVicker, Vice President at CSG. "Bryan and Chris bring a wealth of expertise and knowledge to our team.”
Prior to joining CSG, Nelson worked as a consultant in the finance, manufacturing, and education sectors. As a principal consultant at Ascentium, a leading digital marketing agency based in Bellevue, WA, he focused on Business Intelligence projects. Prior to that, he founded Weybridge Associates, a management consulting company. "I’ve had the honor of working with some great companies to help solve their most complex business problems - primarily through the application of technology and management best practices,” says Nelson. "I’m gratified that CSG is giving me the opportunity to use my experience right here in my own hometown.”
Bryan Campbell’s professional experience includes sales and business development positions at Ascentium, Centerlogic, and Novell. Centerlogic was a Portland-based technology consulting firm focused on Microsoft-based infrastructure and collaboration solutions before being acquired by Ascentium. Campbell’s experience in working directly with Microsoft as a partner brings significant value to CSG’s sales team. "He understands the partner and sales channels as they relate to Microsoft technology,” says McVicker. Centerlogic was Oregon’s leading Microsoft infrastructure consulting partner in 2007.
CSG has been in business serving the Pacific Northwest for 17 years working with well-known clients such as Schnitzer Steel Industries, Greenbrier Companies, State of Oregon, Bonneville Power Association, Johnstone Supply, and many others.
CSG recently established client relationships with Unitus Community Credit Union and Flir Systems. CSG is working with Unitus to develop a Consumer & Equity Loan Web-Based Member Interface application. "These folks (CSG) have been great to work with,” says Brian Irvine, CIO at Unitus. "They understand Microsoft technologies and have a talented technical staff.”
