Do you know a middle school, high school, or college level student who is interested in exploring a technology-related career? Then invite them to the IT Traveling Roadshow, a free event
designed for middle and high school students and their parents who want to
learn more about technology careers and the educational paths available to
enter the field.
Eric VanderHouwen,
president of VanderHouwen Associates, Inc., a premier staffing provider of
technology professionals in the Pacific Northwest, will kick off the evening
with a 15-minute keynote speech outlining the state of the technology field in
the region.
Current WSU Vancouver students
or recent graduates of the technology programs at WSU Vancouver including management
information systems, digital technology and culture and computer science will take
part in a panel discussion that will explore how they got interested in
technology, what their educational journey has been like and what their career
aspirations are.
Target Audience: Middle-high school students and their parents and current college students who have not yet declared a major and are interested
in technology
Free to attend - registration is encouraged
