SAO Membership Levels

Corporate Memberships:

As a Corporate Member, your business may be eligible for group benefit discounts including health, dental, vision, property/casual and workers' comp insurance. In addition your company will be recognized in the online Industry Directory and pay member rates for SAO programs where applicable.

Classes of Membership
Industry

• Software Company - revenue derived principally from product sales
• Technical Service Provider - revenue derived principally from service sales - i.e. contract development, ISP, systems integration, technical consulting, technical writing, web development and other technical services
• IT Department
• Electronics Company

Associate

• Business Services Provider - marketing services, legal, finance/accounting, human resources, management consulting, other business services

Other:

The following member types receive notices of upcoming events and discounts on most programs and events. They are not eligible for any of the member benefits, including the health insurance programs.

• Government
• Non-profit partner - SAO must be given a reciprocal membership
• Students - Must show current educational ID at events for discounts
• Public educational institutions - Includes all K-12 schools, community colleges and universities

Membership rates are based on the amount of Employees in the State of Oregon.
