Leadership and Sales Training

Leadership Development Lab

The LDL process helps create team members who are open and eager to improving their personal performance . . . team members who are willing to make commitments, admit their faults, acknowledge the strengths of others, ask for action, take risks, listen to and respect the ideas of others. For your success, all key team members must be committed to their own personal growth and be willing to explore ways to be different than they are.

Turbo's Leadership Development Lab™ helps your key team members willingly take the initiative in providing timely feedback and constructive coaching. Your leaders develop the ability to both give and get the authority and responsibility necessary to improve performance at every level. This shared ownership results in improved teamwork, enhanced productivity, and the highest possible quality at the lowest effective cost.

The LDL empowers your team in the following major areas:

1. Strengthened Self-Awareness — True self-confidence enables leaders to be more decisive and creative, eager to take initiative, acknowledging of outstanding performance, able to ask for and make commitments, willing to hold themselves and others appropriately accountable.

2. Communication Skills —The LDL fosters a collaborative work environment by empowering leaders to effectively communicate their ideas with clarity - upward to their supervisors and over to those with whom they collaborate. They influence and persuade others for mutual, positive benefits. Participants develop techniques that enhance personal effectiveness to influence coworkers, customers, superiors, or subordinates. Learning is highly interactive and more is gained than just information about communication – participants learn how to practice it. New communication habits are developed which enable consistency in getting points across more effectively.

3. Attitude Control — "The ability to be a thermostat instead of a thermometer" is our definition of attitude control. Leaders develop the ability to maintain and demonstrate the right attitude under stressful conditions. You gain the skill of rising above circumstances to prevent issues from spiraling downward.

4. Empowering Leadership — This quality is the ability to bring out the best so results exceed high expectations. Leaders ensure willing cooperation and engender the desire in others to do what needs to be done. Practical implementation of the 15 fundamental leadership principles results in permanently improved performance and a culture shift that penetrates the fabric of your organization.

By helping your associates develop and grow in these vital areas, you gain enhanced teamwork, improved communication throughout your organization, and a greater commitment to excellence. The payoff is improved productivity and benchmark performance.
