The Software Association of Oregon is the only locally based technology trade association solely dedicated to supporting the success of Oregon’s software and technology Industry. Our mission is to help entrepreneurs start companies, create an environment where technology companies would like to move their businesses and support the growth of the software organizations here in Oregon. Over the last 20 years we have helped connect many technology innovators to people and ideas.

The value of the SAO is in large part due to the commitment of over 200 professional volunteers who lead the creation of the SAO Events, Programs, Trainings and Services.

Our small staff busily works to execute those benefits by continually creating new groups, chapters, discounted business services, training programs, networking opportunities, and much more.
