Group DescriptionThe group supports the first time or serial software entrepreneur with a network of like-minded peers who can help guide in the process of organically starting a software company with limited resources.
Instead of a formal Board of Advisors, it serves like a Board of Peers. SAO’s StartUp Leadership Exchange is about bootstrapping in the creation of a software company followed by grassroots growth. The group provides a safe and valuable avenue to openly discuss the business critical issues which are most pressing.
Eligible ParticipantsThe events are for people starting up a software company, who have started dozens, or have been thinking about starting a company for the last few years but just can’t give up that desk job. They are for tech startup executives only. Service providers (vendors) will not attend meetings unless invited to lead or present information for group discussion.
We also encourage tech leaders to attend so they can lend their expertise and maybe share some of their challenges as well. Recent guests include the CEO’s from FIOS, Technocom, Vesta, eROI, Jibe, Janrain, Monsoon, and many more…
MeetingsThis group is temporarily on hiatus. Please check back for the relaunch of the group!
Service providers (vendors) will not attend meetings unless invited to lead or present information for group discussion.
Special Service Benefits for Exchange MembersWe also leverage special benefits (such as CIO Consultation, DataCenter hosting, phone system discounts, meeting space use etc) for the members of the StartUp Exchange group. Of course we encourage SAO membership and the use of those business services.
